After a long process of researching, negotiations, and logistics coordination our dredge has arrived thanks to the tireless work of our dredging committee and many members.

There’s lots of preparation for dredging taking place!
A timeline is being created to identify all the pieces that need to come together.
A meeting of the dredging committee is being scheduled.
Dredging permits have been posted per the requirements of Army Corp of Engineers, DEC and Canal Corp.
Bob Conrad is preparing the training materials for operating the dredge. RCYC who has been dredging for 10 years will be invited to attend.
The turbidity curtains vendors have been contacted for pricing. We will be purchasing them from a Massachusetts vendor which allows us to pick them up and save the shipping expenses.
The dewatering sites will be created in the next few weeks.
